We understand that managing your pet’s medications can feel overwhelming, especially with so many pharmacy options available today. Our goal is always to make this process as safe, clear, and convenient as possible—while ensuring your pet receives the highest standard of care.
As the number of pet medication providers continues to grow, we are updating our prescription process to better protect your pet’s health, your personal information, and the time our medical team can devote to direct patient care. We also recognize that cost matters. Our online pharmacy is priced competitively with major third-party pharmacies and offers fair, comparable pricing on veterinary-approved medications. Effective January 1, 2026, Mulnix Animal Clinic will no longer process prescription requests initiated directly by third-party pharmacies (such as Chewy, 1-800-PetMeds, Amazon, and similar services). We will absolutely continue to approve and provide prescriptions when medically appropriate; however, we will do so by issuing a written prescription for you to submit directly to the pharmacy of your choice.
